FIRST EDITION

The first acceleration program dedicated to the integration of artificial intelligence and smart cities.

The First Edition of the Human+AI program, promoted by SmartCityLab Milano, came to a close on 12 February 2026.

The program involved innovative startups committed to developing digital and sustainable solutions to improve quality of life in cities.

Through a hybrid acceleration pathway, participants were given access to training, mentorship and guided connections with partners and investors.

The goal was to foster the integration of artificial intelligence and digital technologies with the real needs of urban communities, promoting sustainable and responsible innovation.

The program accelerated 10 startups developing technological solutions for the city of the future.

BIAS & Games

An innovative startup that transforms discarded scratch cards into high-value health data, enabling the development of tools to help prevent gambling addiction.

Care2Impact

Through its digital platform Arianna, Care2Impact simplifies the lives of patients and caregivers by providing easy and secure access to validated resources, services and useful information.

CityZ

An IoT Smart parking startup developing patented magnetic sensors and integrated platforms to optimise parking management in cities, airports and mobility systems.

Klara Wearables

A fashion-tech startup that has developed the first smart glasses for air purification, based on proprietary negative ion technology designed to counter urban pollution.

Lobbi

A plug-and-play solution that combines hardware, SaaS software and artificial intelligence to integrate building management systems with hotel management systems.

Mine Crime

A geo-intelligence SaaS platform that analyses big data and online information to detect, map and predict urban decay and crime-related phenomena.

MyTeseo

A digital system that supports caregivers by collecting clinical and behavioural data and analysing it through artificial intelligence algorithms to improve care pathways.

A startup accelerating the development of electric mobility and sustainable energy through innovative, modular and portable charging solutions.

Niino

Italy’s first digital platform specialising in non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT), connecting patients, clinics and transport operators.

PowandGo

A startup introducing a sharing economy model for electric vehicle charging, enabling users to share private charging points and expand infrastructure coverage.

RESULTS
ACHIEVED

Throughout the program, startups were able to:

develop and strengthen their business model
engage with experts and mentors from the innovation ecosystem
present their projects to stakeholders and strategic partners.

The program marked a first step in building a Human+AI community dedicated to urban innovation.

All participating startups confirm that high-value connections have been established, particularly with Corporates and Investors within the ecosystem.

All participants (10 out of 10) expressed their intention to continue the journey started in SmartCityLab Milano, through various formats such as solution showcasing and involvement in events.
